Lewis Soule School
It is with great pride that the faculty of the Dr. Lewis F. Soule Elementary School continues its commitment to high achievement and excellence. At our school, staff and parents work in partnership to create a stimulating and productive learning community where children can build on their strengths to reach their highest potential.
At Soule, the core curriculum of language arts, math, social studies, and science is enhanced by the visual arts, music and physical education. Our library media center has a vast amount of materials and is staffed by a full-time paraprofessional. Classroom and library computers are networked and have access to the Internet and e-mail. Our reading specialist, learning center teacher, and Title I teachers provide support to ensure student success. We have the support of a social worker, speech/ language pathologist, certified occupational therapy assistant, inclusion specialist, and school psychologist. Reading Recovery provides individualized instruction to first graders in need of additional reading assistance.
Our skilled and committed faculty, energetic PTA, and numerous parent/community volunteers are all engaged in efforts to provide a rewarding educational experience for our students. We encourage and welcome your interest in all aspects of our educational program!
