My name is Dannette Peck and I am the President of the Woodbury PTSA.  I have two boys in the Salem School System.  My son, John, is a freshman at the High School and my son, Jake, is  in 7th grade at the Woodbury.  I have been a PTA Board Member for the past eight years.  At the Woodbury, I was Vice President for two years and this is my 2nd year as President.

As the President, I want to encourage all parents to become involved with the PTSA.  The number one reason to join the PTSA is to benefit your child.  There is no better way to know what’s happening in your child’s school.  Also, PTSA functions are great opportunities to meet other parents and teachers.  You’ll build a valuable rapport  while discussing issues that are on your mind.  I strongly encourage you to have your voice heard and make suggestions.  The PTSA is your forum for sharing ideas.  By getting involved, you’ll be helping make positive changes and demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.

At your earliest convenience, please take a minute and fill out and submit our “Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet and tell us exactly what areas are of special interest to you:

Our 200- 200 school year is already moving into high gear as many programs are beginning to take shape. PTSA is already gearing up for our Volunteer Days which will take place on August 22nd and 23rd and our Volunteer Orientation which will occur in September.  As these dates get closer, please check our website for more detailed information.

While on the website, you may also get on our email list and receive “up to the minute” information on all PTSA activities.

I look forward to meeting you and hearing your ideas.

Yours truly,

Dannette Peck
