The Salem School District is a dynamic organization committed to the principle that learning is a continual process. This is true across all schools, throughout all the grade levels, and to the broader community. We provide opportunities that, if seized, can make a world class difference for young and old alike. From early childhood to adult continuing education, we provide programming to fit the needs of a learning community. We are proud of our schools.
One of our primary strategic objectives is to ensure that all learners have the knowledge and skills to progress to the next level of education or career they select. To that end, the adults at all levels work to ensure the finest programming, and students who arrive at the schoolhouse door need only take advantage of that opportunity. Students who take responsibility for their learning will have the chance to pick from a number of options upon graduation from high school. They need only grab hold of the available opportunities.

We strive to ensure that the structures of our system promote quality at all levels of the organization. Thus it is necessary that the voices of parents and the broader community are welcomed and heard. The involvement of the many increases the likelihood that those most affected by the system, our children, are well served. We will continue to make every effort to provide the quality that our students so richly deserve.
